Political leader and philanthropist ,Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko has welcomed the victory of Governor ifeanyi Okowa at the tribunal as a milestone in the struggle for equity in Delta state
Hon.Nwoko who was the deputy chairman of the state PDP campaign council that rallied Okowa to victory in the March 9,2019 governorship election said the tribunal judgement was predictable because the election was free and credible.
According to Nwoko in a good will message" Governor Okowa won by a clear margin. His victory remained incontrovertible. The tribunal judgement is good for all Deltans because it aligned with their mandate"
The international lawyer said the position of the rule of law stand fairly as validation of democracy anchored on Okowa's tenacity , popularity and integrity.
Nwoko said he was particularly enthused by Okowa's destiny as the first Anioma son to be elected governor of Delta and urged him to seize the moment with responsive governance.
The Star prince of Anioma praised the oneness and brotherhood of Deltans in achieving Okowa's historic reelection and expressed optimism that the governor would build a new Delta with enduring legacy.
