IS THIS THE TYPE OF SENATOR DELTA NORTH DESERVE?

Why do we have Senator Nwaoboshi as Delta North’s Senator?....
1. When the grazing bill made it to the Senate for debate in his lackluster first tenure, his voice was nowhere heard.
2. On all the killings by the terrorist herdsmen that have taken place in Delta North and Nigeria at large, he neither said nor did anything.
3. When the Ruga Fire was raging which we rose up to put out regardless of our political affiliations, he was missing in action.
4. The controversies surrounding his activities especially the sorry states of the roads which companies he has interests in were allegedly awarded contracts without due process constructed in the Niger Delta under him as Senate committee chairman on NDDC affairs to which he was shamefully reappointed have not been exhaustively addressed.
5. Senator Peter Nwaoboshi’s voice was once again missing when it mattered most when Nigerians in South Africa including those from Delta North were being massacred by South Africans. We all jumped on President Muhammadu Buhari to take the action that led to the ongoing evacuation of willing Nigeria from that African country.
I can recall that during the electioneering campaign that Senator Peter Nwaoboshi made only a few campaign appearances which were populated heavily by security operatives with less party members apparently because of his fear of arrest by the EFCC and rejection by the people, but was surprisingly declared winner of the Senatorial election by an abracadabra margin of nearly 160,000 votes which were obviously manufactured in polling boots across Delta North and the INEC collation center at Asaba.
When we probes further, we were told that the people including those who rejected him just voted for PDP because of their loyalty to the party and not because they didn’t know that there were Delta Northerners in the race who were far better and who could have done exceptionally better than him.
It was interesting to listen to how people justified their journey into darkness when they had a huge alternative in light.
Can we now not say that political parties have become cults to which people are compelled to pledge allegiance regardless of consequences?
