EA COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE ANNOUNCES 8 APPOINTMENTS ACROSS BOARD.

The Office of the Executive Assistant (Communications) to the Governor of Delta State, EACGOVDELTA, has announced eight (8) auxiliary appointments as follows:

1.  Godfrey Ughe (Special Assistant on Youth Affairs and Mobilization).

2.  Okorodudu Paul - Special Assistant (New Media).

3.  Sunday Onochojare (Special Assistant on Community Relations & Political Matters).

4.  Kingsley Uvwo (Personal Assistant - Special Duties).

5.  Mrs Maria Enaghere (Special Assistant - (Women Affairs and Mobilization).

6. Oza Eshare - Personal Assistant  (Local Logistics and Security Matters).

A statement by the EA Communications to the Governor of Delta State, Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq,  said the appointments takes effect from October 1, 2019.

"The appointments are the internal dealings of the EACGOVDELTA office and a deliberate effort to further mobilise grassroots support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the state government.

"These engagements are in line with the state governor's directives, requesting political appointees to work closely with their people back home for effective service delivery and wide spread of dividend of democracy under the Stronger Delta Agenda," the statement added.

HIV SURGE IN DELTA: GOVT COMMITS N100M TO FIGHT SPREAD, TREATMENT. *No Advertising Charges On HIV/AIDS Campaigns In State Government-Owned Media Houses, *Laws Against Stigmatization And Victimization Of HIV Patients To Be Promulgated Soon. Delta Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, said the state government would commit N100 million to fight the spread of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in the state. The governor made this known at the launch of HIV SURGE in Asaba on Thursday. He urged that all hands must be on deck to check the HIV scourge, and warned that nobody should collect fees of any kind on HIV cases.
