Ochonogor Appeal to Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association Delta State Chapter to Embrace Peace and Forgiveness
Today, Delta State Commissioner for Housing, Chief Festus Ochonogor has appealed to the warring factions of the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association Delta State Chapter to embrace peace, forgiveness and reconciliation in order to achieve a United Association.
The Commissioner stated this on Thursday (12/9/2019) during the Peace Meeting in his Office. At the meeting the Commissioner remarked that He is worried about the crisis in the Association as a result of the State Executive Committee Election and emphasised that the purpose of the meeting is to find an amiable solution geared towards keeping the association united.
Speaking during the meeting, The two factional Leaders Com. Ifeanyi Abanum and Com. Peterson Edewor respectively expressed their desire to end the disagreement over the Constitution of their State Executive Committee in the State and thanked the Commissioner for his interventions and care.
At the end of the Peace Building Meeting, A 29 Man Harmonised Executive was agreed upon.
In his closing remarks, The Commissioner commended the two Leaders for their sacrifice and respect. He assure them of His continued guidance and support towards making NATA remain a formidable Association in Delta State.
