A Tinubu Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Monday ordered that a Nigerian musician, Adeyemi Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley should be arrested and arraigned over alleged car theft. The chief magistrate, Mr Tajudeen Elias, ordered that the Investigating Police Officer (IPO), Sgt. Sunday Idoko, handling the case must present Naira Marley in court on the next date of adjournment. However, two of the musician’s brothers and his cousins appeared in court over alleged theft of a car and a cell phone. The defendants, Idris Fashola, 18, Babatunde Fashola, 24; and Kunle Obere, 22, are facing a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstructing the arrest of Naira Marley. The chief magistrate granted the three defendants N500,000 bail with two sureties in like sum. The Abuja final first phase of screening recorded quite an overwhelming turnout of football talents with keen interest to participate in the project. In Akwa Ibom State, the 60goals Soccer Star Project held a 3day scouting and screening exercise, which commenced 7th to 9th of October, under the supervision of Ukraine National Team Coach, Oleg Dzuiba. The 3days exercise witnessed the overwhelming turnout of soccer talents who participated in the screening exercise. On day one(1), 320 football player participated, but 22players who performed outstandingly well were selected, on day two(2) 532 soccer talents participated, and 24 was selected. Delta State Has the best Health Indices For Achieving Universal Health Coverage in the Country ..Dr. Michael Nwoko By Frank Iroro The Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Health Monitoring, Dr. Michael Nwoko has disclosed that Delta State has the best indices for achieving the Universal Health Coverage Policy in the Country. Dr. Nwoko made the disclosure in a joint Press briefing with Dr. Patrick Onwuachi at the General Hospital Owa Alero, shortly after monitoring some health facilities in Ika South and Ika North East Local Government Areas of Delta State.
