APPEAL COURT VICTORY: DELTANS VOTED OKOWA- NED NWOKO.

Anioma Billionaire and  Deputy chairman of Delta PDP campaign council for the 2019 governorship election,Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko says the appeal court victory of   Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa aligned with popular  mandate.

In a swift reaction to  the   Appeal  court judgement  in Abuja, Nwoko said  Okowa's affirmation was unstoppable as  Deltans truly elected him in the March 9 ,2019 governorship polls.

According to Nwoko " Deltans trooped  out to polling units to vote Okowa. His popularity was never in doubt. No court could have failed to uphold the wishes of the people.
Okowa's electoral victory was never a fluke"

Nwoko, former house of representatives lawmaker, who rallied widspread support for PDP  under the banner -Operation Return Okowa 2019, noted that quest for equity and  Anioma solidarity motivated his goodwill.

He described Okowa as a good man and credible candidate of democracy deserving of honour.

Nwoko expressed  gratitude to all Deltans for standing strong behind Okowa.

While wishing the governor divine wisdom in governance,Nwoko  urged him to ensure a track record of peace,unity and  sustainable development.

HIV SURGE IN DELTA: GOVT COMMITS N100M TO FIGHT SPREAD, TREATMENT. *No Advertising Charges On HIV/AIDS Campaigns In State Government-Owned Media Houses, *Laws Against Stigmatization And Victimization Of HIV Patients To Be Promulgated Soon. Delta Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, said the state government would commit N100 million to fight the spread of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in the state. The governor made this known at the launch of HIV SURGE in Asaba on Thursday. He urged that all hands must be on deck to check the HIV scourge, and warned that nobody should collect fees of any kind on HIV cases. He also directed the state government-owned media houses not to collect any fee for HIV-related campaigns.
