YOUTHS CALLS FOR SYNERGY WITH NIGERIAN POLICE,
COMMENDS D.P.O SP PATRICK B. UEBARI,
FROWNS AGAINST HIGH BAIL CHARGES...

The Abbi youth led by the President General, Mr Duke Omolu today on invitation attended and welcomed the Assistant Commissioner Of Police, Ozoro Area Command, ACP Camillus E Emeodi on the occasion of his FAMILIARIZATION TOUR TO ABBI DIVISIONAL HEADQUARTERS.
Speaking at the occasion on behalf of the Youths present, the Vice President General of the youth Sen Rich Kay thanked everyone present and highly commended the efforts of the present Divisional Police Officer (DPO), SP Patrick B Uebari who according to the youth leader had worked much more than those he took over from, in ensuring a crime free environment. We can sleep with our two eyes closed... Rich Kay said.
After due commendations, the youth Vice President Sen Rich Kay called on the DPO to synergize with the youths to ensure a more peaceful atmosphere in the area, saying that the Police should recognize the Youth Leadership and not intimidating them so that the youths can give valuable information to the police when necessary.
Sen Rich Kay who further buttressed on the working relationship of the policy and youths Appealed to the Area Command and DPO to reduce the high charges used in bailing people saying that the Prizes are too exorbitant. If we are charged this much for bail over little issues, how then is the police a friend to the people?
Finally the youth leader assured the Area Commander ACP Camillus and DPO SP Patrick of the Youths total support to curb crime in the area, saying the youths will give useful informations and but that any youth leader who hides crime, should equally be dealt with... Youths contributes the latest percent of Crimes yet all youths are not criminals..... Rich Kay added.
Reacting, the Area Commander, ACP Camillus thanked the youth leader and encouraged the DPO to work forcefully with the youths even as he suggests Youths of the area (Division) to creat an form security groups and get approval from the DPO as community policing to help tame crime. ACP Camillus cementing this suggestion said it will be the work of the DPO to profile such group.
The ACP Camillus who noted all the Vice President said, also spoke and called on the men of the Nigeria police to BEAT DOWN THE PRIZE OF BAIL to the bearest minimum even as he crownd all his responses with prayers.
Present at the Police Station are, Chiefs, Vigilante groups, Abbi Youths, PCRC, and men of the Nigerian Police Force.
The occasion ended in joy even as group pictures were taken with ACP Camillus and various groups present.
