EMETULU CONGRATULATES GOV. IFEANYI OKOWA ON A SUCCESSFUL SECOND TERM INAUGURAL CEREMONY

The Member-Elect Ndokwa West Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Charles Chukwuemeke Emetulu sent a warm felicitation to Delta State Governor, Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa for the successful commencement of his second term in office as the Executive Governor of Delta 

In a message of felicitation issued by Hon Emetulu who is set to mount Delta State 7th Assembly as the voice of Ndokwa West Constituency, lauded the efforts of Deltans in the last General Elections which according to him has made the continuation of the Smart Agenda a reality.

Hon. Emetulu expressed certainty that the second tenure of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa will bring more development not only to the State but will also strengthen the PDP ahead of the 2023 General Election.

He said that the Governor's in depth knowledge of the length and breadth of the State especially the challenges confronting the State helped in shaping his government in the last four (4) years, which he said have culminated to massive success the administration has recorded.

Hon Emetulu he noted that the Governor in the last four (4) years left indelible footprints in so many areas, especially in the area of road construction and provision of critical infrastructure. He described the sobriquet  "The Road Master" as fitting for a man who has done so much in opening up Delta State.

He listed other achievements in the past four (4) years in areas such as human capital development,  agricultural development, small and medium scale industrial development/empowerment programmes, the ICT and education sector, and as well as the health sector.  

He poured encomiums on the Governor for successfully reducing unemployment rate in the State via the various recruitment exercise as a well as the various youths entrepreneurship programmes his administration embarked upon in the last four (4) years.

"In collaboration with the security agencies and the traditional rulers, the Governor have also achieved peace in the state. 

Hon. Emetulu stressed that the people of Delta have given the Governor the mandate to continue the infrastructural development projects and other life changing programmes his administration have embarked upon since 2015 and added that Deltans are joyously expectant as the second tenure begins.

The incoming lawmaker prayed God to grant the Governor sound health and wisdom as he sets about building a Stronger Delta and equally pledged his unwavering support to the second term administration of Governor Okowa through his services at the State Legislative Arm.

HIV SURGE IN DELTA: GOVT COMMITS N100M TO FIGHT SPREAD, TREATMENT. *No Advertising Charges On HIV/AIDS Campaigns In State Government-Owned Media Houses, *Laws Against Stigmatization And Victimization Of HIV Patients To Be Promulgated Soon.
