ANIOMA INDIGENOUS PEOPLE HAILS HIGH COURT/INEC

The people of Anioma known as Delta Northerners, in their jubilation had hailed the federal High Court for their good and fair judgment of April 3rd that declared Ned Nwoko as SENATOR ELECT Delta North Senatorial District.

We thank the Court for helping to RETRIEVE OUR STOLEN MANDATE..

Anioma people equally appreciate INEC for depending on the court rulling which compelled the PDP to announce Ned Nwoko as Authentic candidate, and gave the CERTIFIED CERTIFICATE OF RETURN TO HON NED NWOKO.

When they think we're a lawless people, high court proved them wrong even as INEC obediently followed the law and did the right thing........

Anioma people are so happy because we know that Ned meant well for us as so we supported him, but to our dismay, some grunted elements of fraud came in and STOLE ANIOMA MANDATE.

Today, Sen elect Hon Dr Ned Nwoko whom we entrusted the mandate was indeed able to do a good legal fight and won back our mandate.....

Anioma to witness another Democratic dimension....

HIV SURGE IN DELTA: GOVT COMMITS N100M TO FIGHT SPREAD, TREATMENT. *No Advertising Charges On HIV/AIDS Campaigns In State Government-Owned Media Houses, *Laws Against Stigmatization And Victimization Of HIV Patients To Be Promulgated Soon. Delta Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, said the state government would commit N100 million to fight the spread of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in the state. The governor made this known at the launch of HIV SURGE in Asaba on Thursday. He urged that all hands must be on deck to check the HIV scourge, and warned that nobody should collect fees of any kind on HIV cases. He also directed the state government-owned media houses not to collect any fee for HIV-related campaigns. Okowa announced that laws against stigmatization and victimization of HIV patients would be promulgated in the state soon. The 2017 Ugboko terrorism was  an act of hate and wickedness,   what is required now is real leadership and it could only be achieved by addressing justice.
