Dr. Michael Nwoko Intensifies Effort To Attract Experts To Partner Delta State In Health Sector.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State, (Health Monitoring), Dr. Michael Nwoko, visited the Dignity Health, St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Centre in Phoenix, Arizona, United States yesterday as part of his efforts to attract medical experts to key into the PPP initiative of His Excellency, Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the Governor of Delta State.
Dr. Michael Nwoko was received on arrival and taking round the facility by the Director of Destination Medicine, Valter Aleixo.
The Health Facility is one of the biggest in the United States.
In an interview after the tour of the Medical Centre, the Director of the health facility, Dr Valter Aleixo, expressed happiness for the visit of Dr. Nwoko and assured that the medical centre will assist in the training of heath professionals in different areas.
He also pledged to visit Delta State with some health professionals to assess the facilities on ground and work out how they can key into the Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative of the State.
He commended Governor Okowa for his achievement in the health sector and added that Nigerians will benefit a lot from his initiatives.
Dr. Michael Nwoko, why also speaking, emphasized that he was in the US to seek for health experts to partner with Delta State, through the PPP initiative of the State Government, to ensure that Delta State attain world standard in healthcare delivery service.
