AWARNESS CAMPAIGN ON THE NEED FOR CLEAN ENVIRONMENT By: Sen Rich Kay As the Global Man Dr Ned Nwoko sets to Eradicate Malaria in Africa through his Foundation, with both Short/Long term approaches (Fumigation/Vaccination) it is important we all (Individuals, groups and Government) play a roll in ensuring MALARIA BECOMES HISTORY TO US. Since the major carrier of MALARIA is mosquito, it is necessary to do away with mosquitoes around us. An adult female lays about 100-400 eggs in clusters called rafts, which float on the surface of the water, or eggs may be laid singly on the surface of the water or the waters edge depending on the species of mosquito. Within 2-3 days the eggs hatch into larvae. The larvae come to the surface to breathe through a tube called a siphon and feed on small organic particles and microorganisms in the water.
