*PDP LGA INAUGURATION: EMETULU CONGRATULATES NDOKWA WEST PDP CHAIRMAN AND OTHERS*

The Member representing Ndokwa West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Charles Emetulu has felicitated with Ogbuefi Lucky Okuji on his official swearing-in as Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ndokwa West. Recalling that Ogbuefi Okuji acquitted himself well in his first term, Hon. Emetulu admonished the Chairman to see his reelection and subsequent swearing in as a challenge to do even better than in his first term.

Hon. Emetulu also congratulated the entire PDP Exco of Ndokwa West on their emergence. He was full of praise for the PDP leaders of Ndokwa West who conducted the PDP Ward and LGA congresses in an atmosphere of brotherly love and unity. Hon. Emetulu admonished the new PDP leadership in the LGA to be mindful always of the fact that they need all the leaders in the LGA to succeed in the task ahead.

He called on PDP faithfuls across the Local Government to rally round the Chairman in the drive to further entrench PDP as the only party worth its onions in the LGA.

HIV SURGE IN DELTA: GOVT COMMITS N100M TO FIGHT SPREAD, TREATMENT. *No Advertising Charges On HIV/AIDS Campaigns In State Government-Owned Media Houses, *Laws Against Stigmatization And Victimization Of HIV Patients To Be Promulgated Soon. Delta Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, said the state government would commit N100 million to fight the spread of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in the state. The governor made this known at the launch of HIV SURGE in Asaba on Thursday. He urged that all hands must be on deck to check the HIV scourge, and warned that nobody should collect fees of any kind on HIV cases. He also directed the state government-owned media houses not to collect any fee for HIV-related campaigns. Okowa announced that laws against stigmatization and victimization of HIV patients would be promulgated in the state soon. The 2017 Ugboko terrorism was  an act of hate and wickedness,   what is required now is real leadership and it could only be achieved by addressing justice.
