Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State for his quick and proactive actions, taken so far to halt the spread of the deadly COVID-19 in the State. Dr. Nwoko, who was reacting to the third broadcast of the Governor, yesterday 26th March, described the broadcast as electrifying, proactive and another humane step taken by the Governor to protect all residents of the State from the deadly Covid-19 pandemic. On the 20th of February 2020 the Delta State peace Corps Command on a courtesy visit to the New Head of Personal Management (HPM) of Otor-Udu Local Government Council and his Deputy.. The meeting was held in the Local Government, issues discussed includes how the Peace Corps Officers can be meaningfully engaged to maintain peace in the local government. Awesomely, the meeting went well and the purpose was actualized and achieved!!!

NTA: NWOKO PAYS COURTESY CALL ON NTA ASABA MANAGER   SSA to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Health Monitoring, Dr Michael Nwoko pays courtesy call on the General Manager NTA Asaba, Mr Richard Yobo, shortly after appearing on the Stations top flight program, Stand Point with Tessy Coker today, 18th February, 2020 to further enlighten the public especially Deltans on the LASSA FEVER outbreak and steps taken by the State Government to reduce the spread of the disease to zero level in no time, During the program, Dr. Nwoko emphasised the need for all round hygiene and prompt reporting of persons who manifest early signs/symptoms of the disease. Dr. Nwoko further informed that there is no cause for panic as the ministry of health through the Emergency Operation Committee on LASSA FEVER is working round the clock to put the situation under control. The Lassa Fever outbreak in Delta State under control - Dr. Michael Nwoko By Jerry Onwuma The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa on Health Monitoring, Dr. Michael Nwoko has stated that the recent outbreak of Lassa Fever in the State is under adequate control. Dr. Nwoko made this disclosure today during in an interview shortly after a working visit of the  Delta State Health Monitoring team to the Emergency Operations Center of the Delta State Ministry of Health to ascertain the status of the State on the Lassa Fever outbreak. Dr. Nwoko, said that  according to authentic and verified reports, only fourteen cases of Lassa Fever and one death have been confirmed in the State. This is contrary to speculations that two corps members infected with the virus had died.
