The Former Commissioner for Environment and Former Commissioner for Works Delta State, from Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Omordi George Ugbomah finally meets with beneficiaries of their scholarship scheme after three years of sponsoring without knowing them.

In a brief speech during his first time of meeting with the beneficiaries since 2018 of sponsorship, Omordi George Ugbomah explained that his major aim of the scholarship scheme is  to ensure that less privileged and brilliant students from his LGA, Ndokwa East  are recognised and assisted to excel.

Poverty and low education levels are directly correlated to life expectancy around the world and of which men with  lower levels of education live shorter lives on average than their better educated counterparts domestically, Ormodi George said.

The Former Commissioner, Omordi George Ugbomah totally condemn drop out of  student from school on the account of inability of their parents to fund their education and has vowed to continue his assistant to students of such and also other skills capable of developing lives.

One among the students who spoke on behalf of others, express his profound gratitude to Ormodi George Ugbomah and his beloved wife for such godly act.  The students in his statement said, the past Three (3) years has been so wonderful as his parents never complained neither has any teacher reminded his of school fees. And that all effort made to know the altruistic man behind the easy life proves abortive hence this meeting. 

Omordi George Ugbomah in conclusion said, In the valley of life, if there must be smooth saliing, the development needed is building a bridge which simply means building humans that will build others tomorrow, and has urge every Ndokwa Sons and Daughters  in their own capacity, to renders every necessary assistance to build the children of  Ndokwa Nation.
