Delta State Has the best Health Indices For Achieving Universal Health Coverage in the Country ..Dr. Michael Nwoko By Frank Iroro The Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Health Monitoring, Dr. Michael Nwoko has disclosed that Delta State has the best indices for achieving the Universal Health Coverage Policy in the Country. Dr. Nwoko made the disclosure in a joint Press briefing with Dr. Patrick Onwuachi at the General Hospital Owa Alero, shortly after monitoring some health facilities in Ika South and Ika North East Local Government Areas of Delta State. IDUMUJE UGBOKO CRISIS:  HOW NONSO NWOKO FAILED  TO EMBRACE PEACE. It was peace time on Tuesday  for Prince Ned Nwoko, Idumuje- Ugboko illustrious   son as he  led   thousands of well wishers to the royal palace.  It was an unusual  mission  by Ned Nwoko  as he moved  to seek truce in the face of protracted family  dispute with claimant to the Idumuje Ugboko throne  prince Nonso Nwoko. Some key chiefs on the  entourage of Ned Nwoko, including the Iyase of Idumuje Ugboko kingdom, Chief Chris Ogwu, odogwu and Ezedibie  were visiting the palace for the first time in 3 years! The timing was spectacular. DEADLINE GIVEN TO PRIVATE FACILITIES TO VALIDATE THEIR REGISTRATION WITH THE STATE MINISTRY OF HEALTH ELAPSES OCTOBER 31st, 2019..... DR. MICHAEL NWOKO By Jerry Onwuma The Senior Special   Assistant to Gov. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa on Health monitoring, Dr. Michael Nwoko has stated that the October 31st deadline given to private Hospitals and clinics that are yet to validate their registration with the State Ministry of Health remains sacrosanct. The SSA made this known today in a live program "the peep show" on Delta Television where he featured as a guest on the live program earlier today. It would be recalled that the SSA, Health Monitoring had earlier issued a press statement on the 5th of September 2019, mandating all private Hospitals and Clinics operating in the State that are yet to validate their registration with the State Ministry of Health to ensure they they do so on or before the 31st of October 2019 or be shut down.
