NSCDC Commandant on a courtesy visit to Prince Ned Nwoko.

The Delta State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Dr. Chike-Alpha Ikpeamonwu during the week paid a courtesy visit to Billionaire Philanthropist and Antarctica explorer, Prince Ned Nwoko at Mount Ned in Idumuje-Ugboko, Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State. The State Commandant said that he deemed it fit to identify with key stakeholders in the state so as to ensure cordial relationship which will promote order, security and peaceful coexistence. The Commandant also expressed his gratitude to the promoter of Stars University, Hon Ned Nwoko for his previous support to aid the NSCDC in discharging their constitutional roles at the federal, state and local government level.  Dr Chike-Alpha was accompanied by top ranking officers in the Delta State NSCDC command. It was brief but fruitful discussion with the Star Prince of Anioma.

Court Remands Prince Nonso Nwoko, Others In Police Custody Over Alleged Murder The Magistrate Court sitting in Issele-Uku Magisterial District, Aniocha North local government area of Delta State, today, 29th July, 2020, ordered the remand of Prince Chukwunonso Justin Nwoko a.k.a Obi Nonso in police custody over alleged murder, pending the determination of the case at the next Court sitting. Presiding over the case, Chief Magistrate F. Obonodo in his ruling, denied the suspects any bail application and ordered that they be remanded in police detention facility. The Delta State Police Command (Homicide Section) had charged the Idumuje-Ugboko Prince to court after concluding their investigations on his involvement in the murder and unlawful disposal of the bodies of a motor cycle rider, Cyprian Kumaoro and another, Iloh Kennedy during the 2017 intra-communal violence allegedly instigated by Prince Nonso Nwoko. POLICE INTERROGATE DELTA PRINCE NONSO OVER SUSPECTED MURDER CASE

July 19, 2020 POLICEMEN attached to the Delta State Police Command, weekend, interrogated a Prince of the Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom in Aniocha North Local Government Area of the state, Prince Nonso Nwoko over a suspected murder case. The policemen who stormed the Prince’s palace in Commando style, after he allegedly refused to honour invitation extended to him by the command, threw the community into confusion. Alleging that the Prince was whisked away from his palace around 2 am in about 15 vehicles that stormed the palace with heavily armed men, the Prince’s wife, Queen Dumebi, however, confirmed that her husband returned home at about 10 pm on Saturday. Ugboko was thrown into surprise this early morning as members of the Nigerian Police, Asaba invaded the Royal palace of Prince Nonso Nwoko, destroyed his doors, tear gas and whisked him away, inside an unmarked vehicle, to an unknown destination.
