SEN. PETER NWAOBOSHI DETAINED BY CCB.
The embattled Senator representing Delta North Senatorial district Peter Nwaobosi who was recently replaced by Hon.Dr. Prince Ned Nwoko following a Federal High Court Judgement of 3rd April, 2019 was detained by the code of conduct bureau on Friday 26th April, 2019.
According to a impeccable source who pleaded anonymity, Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi was detained and grilled for many hours over non declaration of 3 bank accounts with millions of alleged stolen funds as well as assets in different parts of the Country.
The Senator who reportedly wept openly after intense interrogation was later asked to go home and come back on a later date .
" Nwaobosi was visibly shaken and crest - fallen as he faced fierce looking officials of the code of conduct bureau . He could barely talk. He was stuttering as he responded incoherently to a barrage of questions by CCB. At a point he broke down in tears"

Different groups had petitioned the code of conduct bureau to investigate and prosecute Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi for failing to declare 3 bank accounts as well as properties in Asaba, Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja all believed to have been acquired fraudulently.
Peter Nwaoboshi known in local circles as SPON is seen as the kingpin of scandals.
He has since 2003 been linked to multiple ritual/ political killings as well as cult activities especially in his native Ibuza community in Oshimili North council area where he is said to nurture dreaded murderous gangs notorious for orgy of violence and blood letting.
